Elisa Ossino oversaw the setting up of the Amini showroom dedicated to Gio Ponti's carpets edited by the brand and proposed in new colors and shades. A selection that returns the formidable narrative richness of the design of the great Milanese master.The exhibition space will be rearranged to pair some of Gio Ponti's most iconic creations – armchairs, coffee tables, lamps – with the carpets Amini has produced in collaboration with the Ponti archives. This was an extensive research project that involved re-issuing some of his most famous designs in the form of exquisite handiwork, an homage to the master that highlights his extraordinary sense of measure and intuitive grasp of shape. Elisa Ossino will curate the arrangement with due emphasis on the shades of colour and remarkable richness of the great Milanese master of design and building. Selecting a number of items that reference the master's iconic works and the latest colour palettes, Elisa Ossino will stage the pieces in a setting tuned to the exuberant lightness of Mr. Ponti's creations, to the playfulness of the modernist designer who inspired the expressive authenticity and lightheartedness of new residential aesthetics.
